The whole album in its full, recorded and released 1970.
The lead guitarist is Paul Eastment from Velvett Fogg. Also a brilliant
album (released 1969). Recognised his playing style and sound
immediately when I first got hold of, and listened to, the Ghost LP many
years ago. Still on top this gem.

A well-structured acid rock-blues song in Vanilla Fudge or Iron Butterfly style from the "When You're Dead-One Second" album (1969-'70). The same intro and closing tune was added to the end of "I've Got to Get to Know You", 12th and last track of the album as a kind of delicate Leit-Motiv.

Time
is my enemy is the fourth song from "The Ghost" album "When you are
dead for one second". Guess this is my favorite song from that record.
Since it is a not so well known short lived band from the 70s era here
is some info about them. Copyrights belong to their respective owners -
this is just a fan video.
Paul Eastment: vocals, guitar
Shirley Kent: vocals, guitar
Terry Guy: keyboards, vocals
Daniel McGuire: bass, vocals
Charlie Grima: drums
Here are the lyrics (I interpreted them so some parts are not
accurate and I couldn't find any reference to cross match)
Time is my enemy
and it's taking you very fast from me
as the seconds fade into deathly days
I'm falling in my lover's summer tree
Pick up your black box
place me inside
you wont think you ve known me at all
until for you I cry
Hands on the soundless box
choking time with all their silent gleam
they have won and I can not run
from all the signs they tell my eyes to see
Pick up your black box
place me inside
you wont think you ve known me at all
until for you I cry ...
